National Anaesthesia Societies Committee

Those European national societies of anaesthesiologists who are ESA Society Members send representatives to the General Assembly of the National Anaesthesia Societies Committee (NASC). The NASC General Assembly elects all NASC members.

The aims of NASC are to establish close relationships between the ESA, the European National Societies of Anaesthesiology and the World Federation of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA). The NASC encourages and assists in the formation of new national societies of anaesthesiologists in Europe, and it supports education and conduct of anaesthesia in less affluent European countries with special needs.

The NASC is responsible for reviewing applications received under the ESA Young Teaching Recognition Award and selecting the winners.
