Le Paris Cancan: the Magic of French Music Halls
19.00 – 21.30 Welcome Reception
In the Exhibition Halls on levels 1 and 2
The evening will continue with a special choreographed show by Paris Cancan that weaves together the magic of the French Music Halls, ruffled petticoats, black stockings, strains of Offenbach with a unique contemporary twist to the most famous dance routine ever created: the Can-Can!
Paris Cancan brings the elegance and the excitement of an evening in a great French Music Hall to life once again! Newly created production numbers pay tribute to the unique energies and traditions that have been part of the Parisienne night life for years, some inspired by the grand French Can-Can, some by the streets and personalities of Paris, all designed to paint a loving portrait of this unique era of entertainment.
